Schools usually are separate for 13-18 year old's (Colleges) equivalent to 8° basico to 4° medio. 

The school day is approximately 8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday. Sport is played for the college against other schools in organised leagues. Practice would be twice per week after school. 

Usually students have 5, 1 hour lessons per day with 2 breaks for a snack, lunch and socialising. Students usually study 5 or 6 subjects, 4 hours per week. 

Schools usually offer a wide range of subject choices for both University focussed students and direct to employment pathways.
